Franklin Branch
FRB Community Room (Whole Room)Celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th birthday by reading and discussing her novels. We’ll read one book each month until the big Jane Austen birthday festival in December!
Join us to discuss Jane Austen's third published novel, "Mansfield Park." In a coming-of-age story, Fanny Price navigates the complications of leaving her impoverished family and being raised by wealthy relatives. As one of the few modest and reserved characters in the book, we'll discuss Fanny's growth in love, honor and duty in 19th-century England.
Print copies of the book are available at our branches. Many eBooks are available on CloudLibrary, Libby or Hoopla; find eAudiobooks on Blackstone Unlimited, Libby, or Hoopla.
