Busy parents, caregivers, and anyone interested in developing basic and nutritious cooking skills is welcome to attend “Healthy Meal Planning 101” as part of the JCPL’s Cooking for Your Family Series, in partnership with the Purdue Extension Nutrition Education Program. We will share seasonal flavors and tasty recipes that help make weekly meal planning manageable and flexible for your family.
Enjoy our hands-on program and learn new skills that you can use at home every day – from planning, grocery shopping and cooking tips, to simple solutions for healthy eating and physical activity. Prepare and sample delicious food during lessons, and take home healthy recipes.
