In celebration of National Puzzle Day, join us for a relaxing afternoon of puzzles. We'll have several kinds of puzzles, calming music and snacks to help you unwind after the busy holiday season.
Relaxing with puzzles has the added benefit of improving memory, cognitive function, and problem-solving skills. Jigsaw puzzles help us use both sides of our brains, word puzzles can increase our vocabulary, and sudoku number puzzles test our logical thinking and number skills. Puzzles also provide social benefits when we work together, but even working quietly gives our brains the opportunity to focus in a self-paced, meditative way.
