Artist Statement:
I want you to know that your imagination is alive and well. You may have been neglecting it; as a lot of us often do. Never the less, it is alive.
If I can remind you of anything in this moment, it would be to say emphatically, that you *are* creative. I see creativity in everyone who says they don’t have it. Imagination is the beginning and end of my argument.
My job as an “artist” is to feed my creativity via my imagination. I give myself permission to zone out and imagine all of whatever I care to. Some times those imaginative thoughts manifest as art. Most of the time, they do not. I don’t put pressure on my imagination and I give it as much time as I can.
You have an imagination & because that’s true, you have creativity too. Feed it, you know you want to. And this world needs you to.
