Local musicians the Happy Valley Wanderers will play ukulele rock and roll at the JCPL Services Center. While you listen, create "Back to School" Shrinky Dinks backpack keychains or charms. 

Artist Statement:
Bret Reyburn and Brian Hoover are the Happy Valley Wanderers, a modern-day folk-rock troubadour duo based in Central Indiana with roots in Central Pennsylvania. Having wandered far and near, they currently enjoy entertaining crowds at folk gatherings like the Ukulele World Congress and the Brown County Ukukele Festival’s Open Stage. Bret and Brian play a mix of folk, rock, and pop music from the ‘50s through the ‘70s, covering songs that speak to the human condition with timeless melodies and sincere lyrics. These singer-songwriter classics are delivered with heartfelt lead vocals, tight backing vocals, and groove-oriented strumming that will have you wishing for a return to the age of innocence.
