Join us for moderated discussion with the Franklin College Center for Diversity and Inclusion about “The Hate U Give” by Angie Thomas. The “Hate U Give” tells the story of 16-year old Starr Carter as she wrestles with the aftermath of witnessing the murder of her friend, Khalil, by a white cop. We’ll discuss the book and offer ways for you to continue your education and get involved.
