Inclusion Fair

CPB Community Room, CPB Youth Program RoomJoin us for JCPL’s inclusion fair. The fair will spotlight different organizations, activities, and services that provide services to make the community more inclusive.
Attendees will have the opportunity to play, learn, and connect with toys, certified therapy dogs, and other technology that is accessible to all. Visitors will receive a passport of activities. Those who complete their passport will be entered into a drawing for a special JCPL-themed prize.
Schedule of Activities:
- Storytime With Kati Hirschy at 10:30 a.m. -- She will read from her book "My Autistic Mama", part of JCPL's local author collection.
- Pet a certified therapy dog and learn how several schools and organizations offer this service to support the mental health needs of students and clients.
- Watch artists from the Hope Gallery create their masterpieces, and pick up a piece or two for purchase at their pop-up gallery.
- Meet Liam Price, a local swimmer who has participated in the Special Olympics.
- Other organizations will be there to share information and provide hands-on activities.
- Bibli, the Library’s adorable bookworm mascot, will be there too!
