This is session 1 of 4. The goal of these sessions is to teach you how to improve dietary intake, increase daily physical activity, and improve home food safety practices, food resource management, and food security. This course will provide you with interactive nutrition education lessons which include recipes along with physical activities that help you learn simple solutions to eat smart and be active every day. This course addresses key behaviors linked to obesity and helps you to increase fruit and vegetable intake, reduce screen/sedentary time, control portion sizes, and limit consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages. Attend as many of the sessions that are of interest to you.
