Busy professionals, students, retirees, and anyone interested in developing basic, nutritious cooking skills is welcome to attend “Cooking for One” as part of the JCPL’s Healthy and Affordable Cooking Series, in partnership with the Purdue Extension Nutrition Education Program. We will share seasonal flavors and tasty recipes you can make in manageable quantities, perfect for small households.
Enjoy our hands-on program and learn new skills that you can use at home every day – from planning, grocery shopping and cooking tips to simple solutions for healthy eating and physical activity. Prepare and sample delicious food during lessons, and take home healthy recipes.
