Author Gail Scoates shares Puma: A Shelter Dog Becomes a Hero, a true story of a therapy dog hero. Meet Puma, hear her story, and bring pet food for the Johnson County Senior Services pet drive!

Join Johnson County Senior Services in welcoming author Gail Scoates, and her special guest, rescue dog Puma! Gail will read from her new book, sharing Puma's story. Signed books will also be available for purchase.

Support Johnson County Senior Services' PAWSitivity Pet Program by bringing pet food donations. Your donations will be shared with senior residents in need of supplies for their pets. 

This book is inspired by the true story of a once-unwanted shelter dog and her  caring community determined to help older adults keep their beloved pets (Johnson County!).
