Join naturalist and photographer Joni James for this two-part series as she shares about photographing nature. Open to all skill levels. Come to one or both sessions. Registration required.

Part one (June 10) will cover:

• What it takes to be a naturalist and nature photographer
• Knowing your subjects
• The ethics of nature photography, birding and nature study
• Camera and equipment considerations
• Composition
• Exposure (histograms, exposure compensation)
• Natural lighting

Part two (June 24) will cover:

• Brief review and questions from Part 1
• Tips and techniques for observing and photographing wildlife
• Photo study
• Equipment tips

Exact topics may vary depending on participants' questions and experience.
